PARTNERSHIPS FOR COOPERATION
This action enables participating organisations to
gain experience in international cooperation and to
strengthen their capacities, but also to produce high-quality
innovative deliverables.

Over the lifetime of a project, organisations carry out a broad range of activities to reaching project’s objectives: (a) Project Management: to ensure the adequate planning, implementation and follow-up of the project, including organisational and administrative tasks; (b) Implementation Activities: at the local and international level, including events, meetings, working sessions, Training Courses, etc.; (c) Sharing and Promotion Activities: conferences and events to share, explain and promote the results of the project.
In the previous edition of the Programme, this action was called “STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP”. HERITAGE FOR YOUth is a Strategic Partnership in the field of youth, supporting the exchange of good practices.
COOPERATION PARTNERSHIPS
The primary goal of Cooperation Partnerships is to allow organisations to increase the quality and relevance of their activities and to support the development, transfer and/or implementation of innovative practices as well as the implementation of joint initiatives promoting cooperation, peer learning and exchanges of experience at European level. Results should be re-usable, transferable, up-scalable and, if possible, have a strong transdisciplinary dimension
They are long-term projects
Between 12 and 36 months
At least 3 organisations from 3 different Programme Countries
Activities take place in the country of one or more participating organisations, where institutions of the Europen Union are located or where thematic transnational events/conferences are takng place
The partnership may organise learning, teaching and training activities for staff, youth workers, learners and young people
According to the beneficiaries and impact, there are Strategic Partnerships in the field of Higher Education, School Education, Vocation Education and Training, Adult Education, Youth and Sport
Projects must address at least one horizontal priority and/or one specific priority relevant to the field that is mostly impacted
SMALL-SCALE PARTNERSHIPS
This action aims at reaching out to grassroots organisations, less experienced organisations and newcomers to the Programme, reducing entry barriers to the programme for organisations with smaller organisational capacity. This action will also support flexible formats – mixing activities with transnational and national character although with a European dimension – allowing organisations to have more means to reach out to people with fewer opportunities.

At least 2 organisations from 2 different Programme Countries
Activities take place in the country of one or more participating organisations or where institutions of the Europen Union are located.
The partnership may organise learning, teaching and training activities for staff, youth workers, learners and young people
According to the beneficiaries and impact, there are Strategic Partnerships in the field of School Education, Vocation Education and Training, Adult Education, Youth and Sport
Projects must address at least one horizontal priority and/or one specific priority relevant to the field that is mostly impacted
CAPACITY BUILDING IN THE FIELD OF YOUTH
They are international cooperation projects based on multilateral partnerships between organisations active in the field of youth in Programme and Partner countries. They aim to support the international cooperation and policy dialogue in the field of youth and non-formal learning, as a driver of sustainable socio-economic development and well-being of youth organisations and young people.
Projects can last 1,2 or 3 years
Minimum 2 organisation from 2 different Programme countries and 2 organisations from at least 1 eligible Partner country
The number of organisations from Programme countries may not be higher than the number of organisations from Partner countries
Activities take place in the country of one or more participating organisations, except duly justified cases
Projects must integrate a wide range of cooperation, exchange, communication and other activities
Actitivities must focus on building and strengthening the capacities of youth organisations and young people principally in the partner countries covered by the action
Projects must address at least one horizontal priority and/or one specific priority relevant to the field that is mostly impacted
