Social entrepreneurship is the type of entrepreneurship that seeks to respond to social and environmental challenges through research and experience in applying innovative solutions. To achieve this goal, a social entrepreneur seeks to maximize the existing social capital (that is, maximize the relationships of trust and respect) in a given project, in order to guarantee the realization of more initiatives, programs and actions that allow a community , city or region develop in a sustainable manner.
