Local Activities 3 – Visibility Event Article 

During the last months of project implementation, all partner organisations involved organised visibility events in their countries to present and disseminate the project outputs and achievements, also involving their associated partners and stakeholders. 

On July 9 th 2022, Friends of Europe Tisno (HR) presented the results of the project to the local population and local stakeholders in Croatia. The presentation of the results of the project was part of the celebration of Croatian accession in the EU organized together with a big pub outdoor quiz about EU. The celebration was set on a main square of Jezera, a part of Tisno municipality. They presented the results of the projects, learning area on the project website, analysis of situation, identification, and collection of good practices in the field of ecological and sustainable tourism and social entrepreneurship, tools for ecotourism and social entrepreneurship development. 

Friends of Europe Tisno disseminated the “European heritage for youth involvement and entrepreneurship” project and the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ program in a quiz break.  

They explained that it is possible to download the booklet and the toolkit created directly from the project website. Youth workers involved presented the experience that they had and the competences they developed. 

On 25th July 2022, InterMediaKT (EL) implemented in Patras a short informative and interactive awareness raising event of the project objectives and main principles, connected with outdoor sports, hosted during an outdoor facilitated event on youth and active citizenship.  

The idea was to raise awareness on social entrepreneurship through active citizenship, volunteering, outdoor activities, and heritage management.  

The activity included a short awareness raising presentation, followed by an interactive Q&A and an interactive workshop for children. 

In August, Aktyvistai (LT), organized dissemination seminar for students, volunteers, and youth workers about Heritage for YOUth project which is coming to the end. They were truly happy they could be a part of this project and presented what has been done through the whole lifetime of it. Their learners, Virginija and Gabija, who participated in Blended mobility, shared their experience about it: 

“(4-10 June 2022) Project “Heritage for YOUth “ left a good opinion about Erasmus+ programme, as it was our first project where we have been to. We took part in: Learning, Teaching, Training Activities in Arcos de Valdevez. During the mobility, we had the opportunity to directly observe the ecotourism aspects, meet specialists and other young learners from the host country as well as the partner countries, and share specific knowledge and experiences in an attractive way. We discovered sustainable tourism activities, and examples of sustainable mobility, and shared good practices for environmental protection. Arcos de Valdevez nature really surprised us. We visited many beautiful places, we saw typical village houses that were really amazing, the National park, Porta do Mezio and other places.”  

As an organization, during the project, the partnership with partners got stronger, they received new knowledge on ecological and sustainable tourism and social entrepreneurship on local and international levels, in addition to it, they created new partnerships and found new stakeholders to work with. 

On 11th September 2022, Travelogue APS (IT) presented the results of the project to the local population and local stakeholders in Italy. The activity took place during the event TRAMERCATO, a local open market that took place in the natural park Parco dei Sette Frati, Monte Peglia, in the Municipality of San Venanzo. The open market was related to local handmade products and typical food. During the event several associations and small companies of the territory were exposing and selling their products and presenting their activities. Representatives of the local institutions attended the event. 

Travelogue APS disseminated the “European heritage for youth involvement and entrepreneurship” project and the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ program with a stand with flyers related to the different activities implemented and the outputs.

The young learners who participated in the blended mobility in Portugal, and the youth workers involved, directly presented the experience that they had and the competences they developed. 

On September 23rd 2022, ATER 2000 (RO) presented the results of the project to the local population and local stakeholders in Romania, in a conference organized at Emil Racoviță High school, Vaslui. They presented the results of the project, learning area on the project website, analysis of situation, identification, and collection of good practices in the field of ecological and sustainable tourism and social entrepreneurship, tools for ecotourism and social entrepreneurship development.

On 27th September 2022, Epralima (PT) presented the results of the project to elements of their civil society, the school community (students/teachers) and partner entities. During the presentation of the results of this project, the contribution of some partners to achieve the project objectives was highlighted. In this sense, the importance of IN.CUBO in promoting social entrepreneurship in the region was mentioned, a matter of extreme importance for the social economy and that can leverage social business. Ardal “Portas do Mezio”, another partner entity that, with its contribution through its experience in promoting nature tourism within the National Park, was also important to achieve some of the objectives of this project, where we can highlight the importance of tourism of nature within the National Park nature for local people. The axes of this project allowed them, the school, to grow and to realize that the aims of social entrepreneurship will help us to build a better society that is more prepared to face the great challenges of the moment, only with a united Europe can we be best. 

During the month of September, Iniciativa Internacional Joven (ES) carried out different activities in order to present the results of the project. 

Firstly, they presented the project during short meetings with future participants of other international activities. Participants of “Heritage for Youth” project explained the importance of getting out of the comfort zone in order to learn and improve competences that will be used for the personal and professional development. 

Secondly, they had a visibility activity with local population in Nueva Malaga neighborhood to present the project, including the website and social networks, and its main results. Their organization received positive feedbacks connected with the project and the importance of giving young people opportunities to develop their ideas and be social entrepreneurs. The activity has also been a useful opportunity to reflect on the model of touristic city Malaga is developing, which should be adjusted and adapted according to most of the people we spoke with.
