Due to Covid-19 restrictions it was not possible to organize any meeting in presence, so we organised a virtual meeting through Google Meet. We involved the Municipality of San Venanzo and the Association G.M.P. GAIA APS, which are associated partners of the project. We described the Erasmus+ programme, our project, its duration, objectives, beneficiaries, planned activities and expected results. We collected good practices and we discussed about weaknesses and needs of the territory.
Participants to the meeting highlighted these projects and activities as good practices, but we discussed also about their weaknesses: for the networks sometimes more coordination is needed.
Currently the Municipality of San Venanzo is facing an important issue: a project for the construction of a large photovoltaic system was presented in the territory of the Municipality of Orvieto, near the natural park of Monte Peglia. Although it is important to encourage the use of renewable energy sources, it is also important to safeguard the natural heritage.
The Municipality of San Venanzo will support us in promoting the project activities, involving the target group, and for the dissemination and exploitation of the project results.
